Sauna Protocol:

Pre Session

  • Client should not eat 60 minutes before their sauna session

  • Hydrate to prepare for an increase in core body temperature

  • The sauna will be pre-heated approximately 30 minutes prior to your arrival (100 degrees Fahrenheit)

  • You will undress in the studio restroom and cover with a bamboo carbon towel. Alternatively, you can wear loose fitting cotton clothing in the sauna.

    • If Pure Sweat is added, you will apply the cream in the restroom before entering the sauna to increase sweating, circulation and to boost results.

  • The sauna is located on a massage table or the floor depending on the clients comfort level and maneuverability.

  • You will select your desired color for the chromotherapy addition

  • If sound is added, I will start playing 10 minutes into your session

Sauna Session

  • Optimal sauna experience occurs between 100 - 130 degrees Fahrenheit

  • It is recommended to start slowly with a 10-15 minute session, gradually increasing towards 40-45 minutes. You may discontinue your treatment and exit the sauna at any time. You should listen to your body and be aware of excessive detoxifying. If you begin to feel flu-like symptoms, alert me and we will stop the sauna session. If these symptoms continue, consult a physician.

Note - It is common that the first few visits may result in little to not sweating. Sweat will increase with regular use, removing toxins and leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Post Session

  • Drink at least 24 oz. of water to replenish fluids

  • Dry off with Bamboo Carbon Towel and cool down naturally

  • Schedule your next sauna session to continue your progress.
